Street Quest is a new street game created by young producers from Nelson and Oswaldtwistle, played on the streets of Preston. In 2012, for the third year running, New York artist Tom Russotti worked with Blaze young producers to create new and inventive games as the director of Street Quest.
Designed to be a quirky interactive street game, Street Quest players become a time traveler for the day. Helped and hindered by characters along the way, players have to complete physical and mental challenges and then return to the present day.
Street Quest was played by a collection of brave adventurers on 8th and 9th September at Blaze Festival in Miller Park. See photos and videos on the Street Quest Facebook page.
Street Quest is a partnership project led by Lancashire Arts Development Service with Fusion Community Arts. Funded by Young Roots Heritage Lottery Fund.
